.....My name is Julia Grace and I’m originally from the mountains of northeastern PA. I spent my childhood fishing and swimming in the lake I grew up next to, playing in the woods, catching and observing the local wildlife, and taking care of my pets. I developed quite a passion for animals and had many pets; from cats and dogs, to salamanders, turtles, and snakes. I've continued to be involved with animals throughout my life. I've volunteered at a veterinary office and a local nature center where I cared for their birds of prey, was a nature camp counselor, and gave presentations.

.....Animals are not my only passion, I’m an avid journaler and love to express myself or capture the world around me by writing, photographing, and using many other types of art. I graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2006, am writing a novel, and continue my education through college courses and local workshops. I continue to develop my skills and look for new ways to combine them. One day I hope to become a wife, mother, published author and artist, and a wildlife educator. Starting Serpentime is one step in acheiving those goals and I hope to share my passion for all animals with the children who attend my programs.
